Welcome to Blue Jar Creations!

I hope you find something you love here for yourself or as a gift! Making jewelry is a creative outlet for me as well as a way to relax in the flow of making something with my hands. For the past several years, I have sold my jewelry at a summer open-air market in Shawnee, KS, and enjoy the buzz and energy of that environment. Looking for a way to sell my jewelry year-round, I created this site. Although it doesn't give me the in-person interactions I love, it also isn't affected by the wind and rain of the Kansas summers and falls.

A NOTE ABOUT MY JEWELRY: My jewelry is costume jewelry, rather than fine (expensive) jewelry. I try to make pieces that are fun and affordable, which means that I use more base metals and plated ear wires than I do solid gold or sterling silver. If you need a certain type of ear wire, you can message me at bluejarcreations@gmail.com and I'll see what I can do to modify the earrings you like.
